「SDGs 万華鏡”KAGUYA"」は、放置竹林から伐採された竹をボディに、海に漂着したプラスチックごみ（海洋プラスチック）を万華鏡の中身として使用した、世界に一つだけのエシカルな万華鏡です。 "SDGs Kaleidoscope 'KAGUYA'" is a one-of-a-kind ethical kaleidoscope that uses bamboo harvested from abandoned bamboo forests for its body and plastic waste washed ashore (marine plastic) for its contents.
単なるリサイクル工作ではなく、自ら課題に向き合い、ゴミから万華鏡をつくる体験を通じて、「環境問題は自ら動き出すことで解決できる」という前向きなメッセージを伝えています。 It is not just a recycling craft, but conveys a positive message that "environmental problems can be solved by taking action yourself" through the experience of facing issues directly and creating a kaleidoscope from waste.

放置竹林が森林環境に与える影響は深刻です。私たちは地域の竹林を整備し、陽の光が差し込む豊かな森を取り戻す活動を行っています。
伐採した竹は単に廃棄するのではなく、万華鏡”KAGUYA”のボディとして活用しています。
The impact of abandoned bamboo forests on the forest environment
is serious. We conduct activities to maintain local bamboo forests and restore rich
forests where sunlight shines through.
The harvested bamboo is not simply discarded but is used as the body of the
kaleidoscope "KAGUYA".
海を守る！ Protect Oceans!
海岸清掃・海洋プラスチック回収 Beach Cleanup & Marine Plastic Collection
私たちの海には多くのプラスチックごみが漂着しています。定期的なビーチクリーン活動を通じて、海洋環境の汚染を防ぎます。
回収した海洋プラスチック（マイクロプラスチックを含む）は洗浄・選別し、万華鏡の中身となる「オブジェクト」として生まれ変わります。
ゴミだと思われていたものが、光の中で美しく輝く宝石へと変わる体験は、環境問題を前向きに捉えるきっかけとなります。
A lot of plastic waste washes ashore on our oceans. Through
regular beach cleanup activities, we prevent pollution of the marine
environment.
Collected marine plastics (including microplastics) are washed, sorted, and reborn
as "objects" inside the kaleidoscope.
The experience of transforming what was thought to be trash into jewels that shine
beautifully in the light serves as a catalyst for viewing environmental issues
positively.

SDGsワークショップ・環境教育 SDGs Workshops & Environmental Education
子どもから大人まで参加できる「万華鏡作りワークショップ」を開催しています。
放置竹林の竹と海洋プラスチックを使ったものづくりを通して、地域の自然環境やSDGsについて楽しく学びます。
また、多世代が交流する場を作ることで地域のコミュニティを活性化し、持続可能なまちづくりの基盤を作ります。
We hold "Kaleidoscope Making Workshops" that anyone from children
to adults can participate in.
Through creating things using bamboo from abandoned bamboo forests and marine
plastic, participants learn about the local natural environment and SDGs in a fun
way.
Also, by creating a place for multi-generational exchange, we revitalize the local
community and build the foundation for sustainable town development.
